Well, yesterday I tried to make recycled paper with reckless capital:
- Any waste paper.
- Bucket or basin, which is important to to hold liquid.
- A plastic knife or ruler to flatten.
- Water.
- Tea strainer that meeting.
- Former board.
- Non shirt rags. There are two. Length of the cloth to cover the former board until the board trace all closed. In order not to loose you can use duct tape. The other fabric (not necessarily wide) to squeeze out the pulp.
- pandanus palms, is optional. One site that I make reference practice makes recycled paper mentions that the pandanus palms be used as a natural green coloring and it turned out it was not true. When I tried it myself, pandanus palms can scent the paper (but faint aroma) and give 'ornaments' mottled green color in the finished paper.
- Mortar belong to my mother. Mortar can also (for those who have). Actually I want to use the blender anyway. But, since blender difficult to clean and feed electrical energy, finally I use a mortar. Not bad, can make hand exercise.
- Starch (which is cheap). The same could be replaced or wood glue paper glue. Whatever glue, starch / glue should be diluted with water first so it does not clot.
- Pot. If you can use the former in order to avoid confusion pot if you want to cook.
- Stove.
- Spoon and spoon rest.
- Containers and other containers.
Now, I make it like this:
- Insert the paper into the water, torn up into small pieces that resemble pulp, soak overnight to fade the ink,
- Filter porridge with tea strainer. Take the waste (pulp) and squeezed until it hardens so 'rock' paper,
- This paper set stone then ground with a mortar. As a result, rock paper so that eventually crushed garlic odor,
- Fill the pan with a paper that had been crushed, water, leaves are pulverized, and the cornflour mixed with water at a dose that will. Bring to a boil on the stove, stirring constantly until the watery pulp yield and fragrant with a texture somewhat sticky like glue. Oh, yeah, if added leaves, onion aroma that sticks in the paper can be neutralized,
- Pulp squeezed disposable cloth until not too watery. Place on a board that is already covered in cloth,
- The pulp then flattened by hand or with a plastic knife (so the smooth) until smooth,
- Winds to dry. Do not dry in direct sunlight so that the paper is not bent when dry. Try also drying so that it takes up not using electrical energy,
- Dry! remove the cloth from the paper slightly. Please make it more smoothly ironed.
Results recycled paper if you can again according to taste. If I am, I make recycled paper as a binder contents.
